Cardinals Win!

Last Wednesday, Weenie and I met Jeff up at the Bayou to watch the Cardinals in the Series. The forecast was for rain but we would not be deterred.

Upon arrival, the game had not started. We ordered beers and waited for the others to arrive. Jeff got there around 6:15 and much to our delight, his wife was with him! She was dropping him off and getting a bite to eat. She was choosing shopping over baseball. Shameful! They sat down and ordered some shrimp and oysters.

7:00 arrived and we looked up at the TV and it was pouring in St. Louis. They also showed the radar and it looked like it would rain another hour or so and then it would clear up. More beers were ordered.

Eric and Eric showed up. Budweisers appeared. More rain. Everytime they showed the stadium, it was pouring.

We continued with the Bud Light and then Jeff decided he needed a Dewar's chaser.

As you can see, he was surprised how good that combo was!

8:30 came and went and the rain was still pouring. More beer. Finally, around 9:00, they called the game. More beers and Dewar's were consumed then we headed home.

Harley Davidson

Well, it's happened. Last Friday Weenie and I went to Jackson, Tennessee to look at a Harley Davidson. Since the first time I met Weenie, around 11 years ago, she's talked of owning one. At first it was "by the time I'm 35, I'll have a Harley." Then it was "by the time I turn 40....". Well, it's finally here.

We drove an hour to Bumpus to look at it. Here's a picture.

So, in a couple of weeks, after Weenie takes a refresher riding course, she will be on the streets of Memphis in her leathers.

Mooey's Birthday Bash

Saturday was Mooey's 43rd birthday party at The Vault. Here's the invitation.

Weenie and I arrived at The Vault at around 6:30. The party wasn't supposed to start until 7:00 (which means people will show at 9:00). Weenie and I wanted to get a head start. Nick was already there getting the bar ready for the party.

Mooey and Hoops arrived next door at around 7:00 and we joined them for pizza. People started arriving sooner than we expected. We finished up eating and went back next door for shooters and more beer! The partygoers started arriving in droves.

Of course there was dancing!

And lap dancing...

Mind erasers were consumed...

More revelers arrived...

Our trusty DJ that kept the dance floor full all night!

Cherries were consumed...

And then late night drunkedness ensued...

I think I'll end this post with an ass shot. I think that pretty much sums up the wild time that was had by everyone.
