Andy's Bachlorette Party/Sweatfest 2007

Thursday we rolled into Destin around 2:00 and went immediately to The Back Porch for some food. We were starving and Weenie and I had promised this was a worthwhile place.

Here's the view from the table.

We started with Bloody Marys and both of us got the blackened amberjack sandwich (to die for). Mel ordered us broiled and fried crab claws for an appy. Flip out!

We finally checked into the room around 4:00 and started to unpack and get ready for the limo that was arriving at 5:30. Here's a view from our room.
We all met in the lobby and the longest limo pulled up. It was hysterical. The driver could barely make a turn in it. Our first destination was The Red Bar in Grayton Beach.

Andy!
The ride to the restaurant was about 45 minutes. That was just enough time to get rowdy.

I think we arrived around 7:00 and it was packed as usual. Dyna slipped the hostess a $20 and she seated us at a large table outside in about 10 minutes. It was a little hot but the breeze off the ocean was great. It did not take long for the party to get crazy. We coaxed the owner into getting a radio for a little music outside. I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Andy stole some lady's hat and then made a brief speech. Something about us not sucking or something. It was already getting fuzzy.

The limo came and got us at 9:30. We all loaded up and headed here. We went upstairs for beers and shooters. It was so packed. I ordered 2 beers and 2 pink lemonades (they were thimbles). My tab was $17.75. WTF? There was a band playing downstairs so we all went down and flooded the dance floor. They were none to pleased. Oh well!

It was so fucking hot. Everyone was sweating their asses off. We finally rounded everyone up and got back in the limo.

We were all toast at this point. So, where should we go next? Oh, the titty bar. Great idea.
As you can see, the name of the place is Club "10". I hate to break it to them, but there were not any 10s in the place. None. There's also no pictures which I think is a good thing. I'm still trying to erase this part of the trip from my brain.

We left around 1:30 and then proceeded to drink on the balcony until about 4:00. It was a long but extremely fun day!
I didn't make it back to the hotel with my glasses. I have no idea where I left them. Weenie also lost her sunglasses but we were able to retrieve them from the limo company. I wasn't able to see very good the remainder of the trip. Be drunker.
